How to Request Deletion
At SYLA Travel Sim, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and associated data using one of the following methods:
- In-App Request: Open the SYLA Travel Sim application, navigate to the "Edit Profile" section, and select the "Delete Account" option. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your request.
- Email Request: Send an email to [support@syla.one] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." To help us process your request efficiently, please include the email address associated with your SYLA Travel Sim account in the body of your message.
What Data is Deleted?
When you request to delete your account, we will permanently remove the following information from our active systems:
- Profile Information: Your name, email address, profile picture, and any other contact details you provided.
- Account Credentials: Your encrypted login information.
- eSIM & Usage History: All data related to your purchased eSIMs, data usage records, and plan history.
- App Activity: Any preferences, settings, or other data generated by your use of the app.
Data Retention Policy
While we delete your active data upon request, we may be required to retain certain information for legitimate reasons, such as security, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance. This may include:
- Transactional Records: For financial auditing and legal purposes, we must retain records of your purchases for a period of 7 years. This data is stored securely and is not used for any operational purpose.
